Located adjacent to the UC Davis Medical Center in Sacramento, Aggie Square serves as a hub for research programs, private industry partners, classrooms, housing, and public-facing programs that engage local communities and entrepreneurs.
Tech Foundry at Aggie Square
The Tech Foundry, operated by the Biomedical Engineering Department since 2010, has served as the center for rapid prototyping and innovation for the doctors, veterinarians, researchers, students and entrepreneurs on the UC Davis and UC Davis Medical Center campuses.
BioInnovation Lab UC Davis Main Campus
The BioInnovation Lab has served as a hub for undergraduate experiential learning since 2015. Over 1,200 students each year utilize the BioInnovation Lab facilities to gain core laboratory skills, perform research, and work on entrepreneurial projects.
