NextGen BioFab Educator Applicant Eligibility
We are accepting up to 9 high school or community college educators who meet the following eligibility criteria:
- Participants must be currently employed as a teacher in a high school or community college.
- A strong preference will be given to educators who teach in a public or private high school or community college within a 15-mile radius of Aggie Square (4480 2nd Ave., Sacramento 95817)
- Have availability ~9am-4pm on the days the program is planned to run (you are able to select your idea cohort - see table below)
- Have transportation to and from Aggie Square in Sacramento and the main UC Davis campus for the duration of the program (parking vouchers will be provided).

NextGen BioFab selection will be made based on review of complete application materials submitted on time (no later than 11:59pm on January 18, 2026) via the online form, including:

Educator Questions
- You are applying to participate in one of our three 17-day student/teacher cohorts (2 weekends in Winter/Spring + 13-days in Summer). Can you commit to being available for each day of your selected/assigned cohort? (Yes/No/Maybe)
